I can only make it work if i set it to programmers mode by pro-mk3 host*, Mini-host does not work at all RE: The Launchpad Thread - P4ncho - 12-09-2023 Hello all, I recieved my Multi-IO and it´s working fine with my launchpad mini mk3 so far (after installing the latest firmware update of the launchpad). There is one thing which is a bit confusing to me. If I set triggers with the launchpad in a normal Modular-Track, it automatically sets "E1" (Ratcheting) triggers. If I tap the triggers in with H (Shift) on the Launchpad, it sets short "20" triggers. Is there any way to choose which triggers I wanna set? If I press a step and turn the encoder on the Multi-IO it also sets "E1" triggers. Cheers, Jan RE: The Launchpad Thread - sak-rwsd - 01-18-2024 Hi All, I just received my Multi-IO and have it working with my LP mini mk3. I’ve noticed that the grid doesn’t show any notes on MIDI tracks. I thought it was because of having MIDI channel over rule, but it didn’t make a difference to change it to just one MIDI channel (perhaps it’s the complexity of visualizing the polyphony?). I’m sequencing mostly mono-synth voices, so wondering if it’s possible at all, or is this feature not available for MIDI tracks? Thats why it is still beta. Be sure to also check in the manual for what is possible at the current stage. Also if you or anyone got good ideas for the other track types etc, let me know! RE: The Launchpad Thread - mntbighker - 01-24-2024 I tried my Launchpad X and Pro Mk3 on my new Multi-IO. I see the track colors when I switch modes, but as soon as the grid refreshes they got back to white. edit: Ahhh, so they are colored only when the seq isn't running. Then with a button, you could move to the next 16 steps and so on, for longer patterns? This way one could sequence all four notes polyphonically on the Launchpad, in 16 beat chunks if desired? RE: The Launchpad Thread - TimoRozendal - 07-04-2024 Hi, I am a new user and I am currently exploring the launchpad icw the trigger 16 expander. I think it works really nice how you can edit 8 outputs with the launch pad! Small thing: I like how you can select the next 8 steps as well, but for a 16 step sequence it scrolls down in the pattern view so that you don't see the top 8 anymore. I would like it that it would only scroll if necessary. What I miss is an option to select the other 8 outputs while editing. I know that there is a 'swap outputs' track setting, but I didn't figure out a way to do it directly. Maybe there is a way to make a mapping possible to connect the Z button of the I2C expander to this track setting? (are those buttons available as inputs?) Alternatively I might couple a press of the Pattern button to it (alternating). I also didn't find that destination yet, but maybe the TREF type trigger can be coupled to it? Not sure how yet btw. TREF appears to be local, or is it possible to send it from another track to change the setting of the current track? One issue with TREF is that it doesn't send and update message to the launchpad, so the new state is not reflected yet on the launchpad. EDIT: how TREF is handled in the normal trigger columns (ie not the pattern view) is also a bit odd: it doesn't seem to do anything initially, but after you scroll left/right (triggering an update I guess) you see the triggers of the other 8 outputs. However the labels above the tracks still mention the previous 8 outputs, so this might lead you to think that you editing something else. Like I said, I am new to this, maybe I should approach this another way, any ideas/suggestions? While trying this I found a little bug with the combination: swap outputs==on, launchpad and pattern view The launchpad presses set or remove triggers on the expected steps, however the active location in the pattern (red) is wrong: it is activating the location as if swap outputs is off. (I have made a video of this, Thomas let me know if you would like to see it) RE: The Launchpad Thread - chriswest - 07-13-2024 (09-21-2022, 12:18 AM)Cyber_Imp Wrote: I know this is maybe very far from easy but I would love to have monome grid support as well. I may build a norns script to facilitate this. This interests me as well- is there a way to simultaneously launch clips in resolume (or any other devices) with the launch commands coming from the launchpad mini mk3? maybe by somehow mapping the info from mini mk3 to the available device port which then goes into the computer? RE: The Launchpad Thread - collinember - 09-30-2025 Hi all, In drum pattern view, is there already a way to a) stop the sequencer or b) exit the drum pattern screen? I'm on FW 3.0 with Launchpad Mini Mk3. (I'm aware the implementation is still in Beta, just curious if I've missed something. Thx, C. |
