RE: Launch whole row - ignoring pattern length - MATTHS - 06-02-2021 So it appears we are in need of a new command. SHIFT and pressing START twice (x2) launches a row of patterns to the nearest Queuepoint. Without this, I am confused as to how we can, 100% always have a row of patterns launch synchronised. Admin - please can this be added? Also Live Quantize in the manual (page 18) needs to be replaced with Live Queuepoints which is the correct terminology according to the Project settings. RE: Launch whole row - ignoring pattern length - MATTHS - 06-03-2021 An update on this. I have been in touch with the Admin directly and it does appear that everything I am describing functions as it should and that there is no current way of doing what I am trying to achieve. He has seen potential and the usefulness of what Ii am trying to achieve and may look at implementing a solution in the future. This would mean that the Nerdseq would ignore how long a pattern is, if a pattern has stopped or is just starting to play and will launch a whole new row of patterns that could be linked to Queuepoints to ensure everything is on time. Stay tuned.... RE: Launch whole row - ignoring pattern length - depaffect - 06-03-2021 (06-03-2021, 08:21 AM)MATTHS Wrote: An update on this. That is great news! I'm not sure if it's purely because I'm coming from an Ableton clip launching kind of mindset, but it always seemsĀ unintuitiveĀ to me when you hit play on a row and they don't start at the same time - although I sorta get why. Shift-double play seems like a great solution RE: Launch whole row - ignoring pattern length - Karlo - 06-03-2021 If this row start feature would still follow global quepoint or global launch quantization while ignoring pattern length or waiting until the end of it's pattern, then this would be a much welcomed feature while using random jump FX too. If there was a way to get it to work with STSP... that would be even more sick. |
