You did not hit SHIFT+OK?
If so, then hitting SHIFT+OK again switches back.

I was hitting SHIFT+DOWN (cursor keys) to edit the velocity values and my finger must have slid between the SHIFT and OK buttons, pressing them both to do the accidental SHIFT+OK. Since I've never used SHIFT+OK on the velocity column before I didn't know what was going on. I do know though. All is good.
