[NO BUG] Nerdseq stuck on white screen on start-up - Torn - 05-23-2021

Not sure if this is a hardware or software problem so I will throw it in here, too.

Basically, my Nerdseq is stuck on the initial white screen when starting up. Straight from powering on, it goes white and stays like that indefinitely.

Earlier that day I installed the latest firmware, which worked.
I did a self-calibration of inputs and messed around recording inputs live. But the pitch recorded was off. (likely user error somewhere)
I then did a self-calibration of inputs again, recorded inputs live, this time all works fine.
To check if the calibration is persistent after power down, I turned off the modular. Removed all cables from the Nerdseq and restarted.
That's when it got stuck on white.

Anything I can do so it starts up? Some sort of hidden, reset all button I can press, or a factory reset?

Thanks for the help!

Hey Torn,

can you try to update the firmware again? (Does it enter the firmware update menu??)
White screen is most probably that there is either no firmware running or a hardware issue.

Hi!

Thanks for the quick reply. Sadly starting while pressing Shift Copy Cursor Up doens't help and it's still stuck on white.

Hi!

Thanks for the quick reply. Sadly starting while pressing Shift Copy Cursor Up doens't help and it's still stuck on white.

Another test, when started up wait 30 seconds. If you press start, do you see the clock running? (Like screen doesn't work, but the rest seem to work)

Thanks for the troubleshooting help! Sorry for taking up your time Sad

Sadly the clock doesn't start either. I tried Start and Shift+Start.

Oh..more sorry for your issue!

I will contact you directly as it seems to be a hardware problem. I don't think that it is releated to the firmware update actually.
