Make display of tracks 7 and 8 consistent w/ display of other tracks when set to MIDI - marcora - 12-26-2021
It would be nice to have the display of tracks 7 and 8 match the display of tracks 1-6 when their output is set to MIDI.

What I mean is that when track 7 and/or 8 are set to "midi", their activity display should look like the one used for tracks 1 through 6 (with the red square, etc), rather than the display used for tracks 7 and 8 when in "audio/sample" mode (with the 3 rectangular boxes).

Oh I see. It is only the red square for midi actually.
But the audio tracks can still run and indicate when using the tracks for something else. That should be visible, too.
I see how I can integrate them, but low priority.

It's more for UI consistency and thus avoid confusion. Not high priority I understand, but nice to have eventually. It wouldn't require a new integrated display of track activity, just switching from the "audio track output UI" to the "MIDI/modular track output UI" when track 7 and/or 8 are configured as MIDI.
