humanize sequence - Mat - 03-01-2018

Just wondering if it is possible to somehow give a 'human' touch to a sequence. Maybe it's possible already using Nerdseq's current features.. Delaying every trigger one or some ppqn's, in a random manner, and set a standard deviation somewhere manually.. Haven't figured out yet how to do that. Maybe in combination with other modules too? Any suggestions on this matter would be more than welcome Smile

There is no human touch route directly at the moment as you think it, i planned some on my 2do list.
However, you could use the Probability features for the FX while adding different trigger points and delays for Trigger FX and probabilities. That would definitely give the human touch as you want it. Like setting probability to 80% on FX 1,2,3 and maybe 90% to FX 4. Then you set a Trigger on all 4 FX positions. The first like 03. The 2nd with 02, the first with 01 and the last with 20.
This would probably give delayed triggers and for 90% a not delayed one. Don't forget to set the real trigger in the trigger column one step after that to 00 to be sure the triggers are reset because 01, 02 and 03 will set the triggers delayed, but don't reset them anymore.
I think by that you can go very far already.

I didn't tested it yet, but it should do exactly what i think.

Thanks! In the meantime I did find a solution pretty similar! Nerdseq is insane.. I'm just amazed over and over again ... I just added a couple of inverted triggers in a one bar loop, added different 'jump to' commands, and an FX1 probability value in FX2, so the sequencer would jump quite randomly to different triggers. This all will be even more easy when the random playback is added Smile Just incredible...
