Hi folks. Does anybody kno if it’s possible to connect the pins on the midi port on back of the nerd directly to the midi port on the intellijel case? And which pins are for what?

No it's not possible, afaik the actual midi electronics are on the midi modules not on the nerdseq module.
Anyone with better knowledge may please correct me if I'm wrong.

When I had an Intellijel case I mounted the 2hp MIDI expander inside the case and then connected to the IJ ports. You do need the expander as, IIRC, it has the optoisolators. Maybe a 1/2 hour job of you’re handy at soldering.
