A question regarding Midi CC to CV - blissomatic - 05-18-2023
Hi guys!
I'm very much looking into buying Nerdseq and look forward to having parts of my workflow go back to my roots as someone who started music with Fasttracker II in the 90's!
I have one question though, which I've been trying to find out about in the manual and forum but I still don't feel 100% about.
I'd love to control module parameters by connecting a Behringer BCR2000 to the midi input of Nerdseq and having the midi CC go out to CV in realtime, while also being able to record it.
For example: playing with the frequency of a filter module with the BCR2000 and then hitting record on the Nerdseq and have it played back.
Is this possible? Also, is this possible with the CV16 expander?

As for Midi CC it is currently only possible to record CC#1 into the MOD column of a Modular track but not for a CV16 track.
There will be advanced Midi CC -> CV routing including CV16 in the next firmware but not for recording yet.

This is part of a big update including the new Midi / I2C Expander which will enter the beta-test phase in 2-4 weeks. So right after that.
Trust me, there is enough to explore for many weeks/months in the NerdSEQ. I usually also put release candidates online so people can use these already before the release.
