[NO BUG] Envelope times depend on attack peak - yrn1 - 12-10-2023

When I created 2 envelopes, both triggered by the same source, both with same attack time, but different attack peak, do not reach that peak at the same time. The one with the lower peak reaches it faster.

Thats how it works. The speed doesn’t change but is decided by the attack. Since the peak is lower it is reached earlier.

Damn. No chance that you can change this?

No. Too much calculation involved. It also is not what real envelopes do (if they would have a peak stage).

OK. Thanks for the info. I'll deal with it in another way. It's just having mappings now opens a whole bunch of interesting new ways to work with the Nerdseq. Like using the envelopes for real with CV inputs assigned to various timings ;-)

I tried scaling one of the envs using the mappings, but that doesn't work because of the 1000Hz evaluation speed: it is very audible in the envelope then. Anyhow, I'll use a eurorack attenuator... Thanks for this super 2.0 update! It's amazing!
