Quantize per track - joesh - 03-06-2024 I'm not sure if I've missed something, but it seems that when using the random note possibilities in/on a track, you can't set a quantized scale without it affecting all the other tracks in your piece? I'd like to be able to use RN0 - RNF and set them a scale, so that the notes they pick fit with a melody. However, if I use RNX, then I think I need to set the quantize function. However, if I set quantize, it will interfere with all the track (which I guess is normal). So, is there anyway to set a quantize to affect only one of the RN0 - RNF commands? I hope that makes sense? Thanks in advance. RE: Quantize per track - XORadmin - 03-06-2024 The randomize results are never in a scale. The scale function is overruling the result of the random note. You can choose to set each track to use the global scale or an individual scale. So if you set a track to a scale then the other tracks are not affected. Change these settings in the scale screen. RE: Quantize per track - joesh - 03-06-2024 Okay, I saw that but maybe I needed to try it a few times to hear the results correctly. However, I thought that might be exactly what it was meant to do, but somehow it something didn't work (as I expected). |
