Original SD card content? - akselh - 04-08-2024
Hi all,
I unfortunately have to let my NerdSeq go, and I would like the next owner have a clean slate to begin from. Is there some way to reset the SD card? Or is there a list of the original files somewhere?

After searching for quite a while, I found the samples available for download, but I have not been able to figure out what the factory project(s?) was/where called, nor have I found the original SETTINGS.DAT file. Do you have some good tips on how to improve my mediocre search skills?

Hey Akselh,
you don't really need anything. They are no factory projects except for 2 mapping files I have on there with the latest versions. All other folders are generated automatically.
Settings.dat is not used anymore since years.
However, a clean sdcard for the latest firmware is here, I would suggest to format the card as well:

Both for the help and for a fantastic sequencer. The sale is due to a temporary economic setback which hopefully will be under control when the summer is over. I will probably get a new one then, and as the summer is the time for gathering field recordings and playing guitar, I will probably not see the inside of my studio and feel the loss of my NerdSeq too strongly the coming months.
