For example: if I'm in pattern for Sample 1, I cannot copy the groove I've made in Groove column A into Groove column B.

Yes, that was reported before and i am aware of that.
Copying the values between the 2 sample parts in one pattern is not possible yet and thus not a bug but a missing feature
That is on my list for the general facelift of the sample part.
