Start Seq Pattern FX - ohho - 01-11-2026

I'm having an issue with using the 'start sequence pattern' fx on time..

The STSP works exacly like pressing the start button. If you press it once it will start the next pattern either when it is finished (if in normal SYNC mode) or with the zero cross (if in SYNC Mode).
If you press start twice it will start the new pattern on the next cue point.
So if you use the command twice (like on 2 FX) then it will use the next cue point as expected.

I've tried what you suggested using the STSP on two FX (1 and 2 in my case), and it sort of works, but the timing isn't quite accurate still and I haven't been able to achieve what I'm aiming for.
Would appreciate if you could have a look at another video below that would help explain

I think the reason it is not consistant is that you got the probability also on the same STSP commands in that FX row and so not both will execute 'probably'.
I assume you got the cuepoints set to that every step is a cuepoint, right?
That would mean that if you put the STSP in the last row of the pattern the next cuepoint is on the next step for the other track. The next step of the other track can be on a different time than you think though if you changed the timing of that track so I can imagine that it might create confusion about the expectation of the time that the cue really happens. Even more confusing since you force a new timing on several steps.
In general I would say using STSP twice does what it promises. But it might be not the function you need in your situation.
If your first track which you want to be the leading one is just running linear with the mainclock and you want to have the other track proceed when the zero cross happened then you could probably set the STSP a few steps earlier, only once. And in your setup the SYNC mode should be set to 'SYNC' and not to 'NORMAL'.
Forget about the cuepoints then. But that is just a suggestion and most probably doesn't match exactly what you want to do.
