Samples and Island Questions - mpiecora - 01-06-2019
A few questions:
Do samples have to be in RAW format? How to I change a WAV file to a RAW file. I can't seem to load samples that are not RAW.
It there a way to hear an audio preview of the sample without having to load it into the sample slot?
Islands:
I am triggering new islands with the Shift+Play combination but it is not waiting for the longest loop to finish before playing some of the patterns. So I am getting a loop starting before the others which is throwing the whole thing off.
Any help here would be awesome!

No, samples can be also be loaded in wave format (all the later versions). Most wav formats just work well. If you can't load them then they might be too big? Remember you got not much sample memory. In bytes up to 200 kB which is around 4 seconds.
There is no preview yet, i will add that in maybe the next but for sure in the next after that version.
About the islands, a next patterns starts playing always when the earlier pattern is ready. So when using SHIFT+START it is the same as if you would press start on all patterns in that row independentally and it reacts the same. Only the resync option can bring you back to sync in that case...it'll resync on the next main clock zero transition.
SHIFT+START twice would get you all together to the next islands, but it doesn't wait until they ended. I guess else only stopping the shorter patterns before using the SHIFT+START to get them back together would work at this point.
