fx random patch - holo - 01-07-2018 random patch selection should be fun. maybe with patch number range limits? RE: fx random patch - note! - 01-24-2018 Do you mean random parameter modifier like the Z-command in LSDJ? Because that would be incredible!! RE: fx random patch - XORadmin - 01-25-2018 I think he means like selecting a patch randomly. That is easy right now, but will be very difficult for the future when the expansion modules will be introduced, cause the patch settings won't match anymore. RE: fx random patch - holo - 01-25-2018 oh yes you're right.. i think i dreamed of that before we had this dream-crushing conversation in the other thread ![]() guess I'll invest in some programmable cv source to work around that. edit.. dont know about that particular z command but random is something i've read about in some 2do section. ..routing an input to a parameter of an event would be nice too.. like setting a note value in the timeline via input.. RE: fx random patch - note! - 01-26-2018 holo, just to clarify: Z-command will randomize whatever FX command comes right after it. The parameter of the Z sets the "spread" so that a 0002 would only offset + or - 2 parameter shifts for whatever FX follows it. Its SUPER helpful for adding movement and the unexpected in what can otherwise be a stiff method of sequencing. XORadmin, and chance of adding a z-command style FX? RE: fx random patch - XORadmin - 01-26-2018 XORadmin says: yes, something like this |
