ramp spanning length of pattern - private_transfer - 08-29-2022 This is one of these things I feel like NerdSeq actually has 3 different ways to do this and I'm missing something... What is the most direct way of making a ramp that starts with a beginning voltage and arrives at an ending voltage across the length of a pattern? I'm imagining this in terms of automating CV to open a filter. I feel like one way to do this might be to generate an envelope with a long attack. I suppose I could also just fire off a trigger to something like Maths or pip slope to do the same thing. But I suspect NerdSeq actually has a more precise way to accomplish this. What am I missing here? Thanks! RE: ramp spanning length of pattern - mgd - 08-29-2022 1) You could use FX Glide. Not sure this will require readjustment when you change the tempo 2) Depending on you need regarding smoothness/steppyness you could simply set the output to some value and then use FX+ for linear or FX* for an exponential increase on each step. This way you would get 64 steps which should be beyond noticeable. Thinking about it, 2) is what I would use. Thanks for this. Is there a way to stop the automation at the end of the pattern? I have ASL0 0000 right before the BRK but that doesn't seem to do anything. I don't see a parameter for stop. I think ASL0 1xx was the start/stop function |
