ramp spanning length of pattern
#1
This is one of these things I feel like NerdSeq actually has 3 different ways to do this and I'm missing something...
What is the most direct way of making a ramp that starts with a beginning voltage and arrives at an ending voltage across the length of a pattern? I'm imagining this in terms of automating CV to open a filter.

I feel like one way to do this might be to generate an envelope with a long attack. I suppose I could also just fire off a trigger to something like Maths or pip slope to do the same thing. But I suspect NerdSeq actually has a more precise way to accomplish this. What am I missing here?

Thanks!

1) You could use FX Glide. Not sure this will require readjustment when you change the tempo
2) Depending on you need regarding smoothness/steppyness you could simply set the output to some value and then use FX+ for linear or FX* for an exponential increase on each step. This way you would get 64 steps which should be beyond noticeable.

Thinking about it, 2) is what I would use.

Automator using tick as clock.
Set up as sawtooth, phase at 800.
Amplitude and offset as prefered.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.

Or the same thing as table, would even be a higher resolution

Thanks for this. Is there a way to stop the automation at the end of the pattern?  I have ASL0 0000 right before the BRK but that doesn't seem to do anything. I don't see a parameter for stop.

I think ASL0 1xx was the start/stop function
