Hey,

TRS Midi is the exact thing like normal Midi only the connector is different (thats why the adapters are included).
What you need is a external THRU box so you can 'split' the signal to be used with multiple synthesizers. Sometimes these synths got their own thru ports which you can use instead.

You can't just split the signal with like a multiplier or so. You definitely use a thru box for that. 

If the Launchpad got TRS ports ( I don't remember right now), then you got to take care that they don't use the official TRS-A Standard but TRS-B instead and you would need 2 TRS-A/B Cables as well. (Which are on the way   )
