Robot-controlled Modular Synthesizer
#1
Currently working with a friend on a project using robots to control this system for a performance next month. The robots control the Drum Sequencer, the Faderbank and the MX12, while getting midi fed back from the nerdseq to control which commands the robots will execute. It's still very much in the development process, but the goal is to have a wide sonic palette, accessible via. macro controls, random FX and cascading sequencers. Finally, a "meta" midi controller will be hooked up to a computer to control the frequency of the different types of robot commands, as well as the speed of the robots. The sound of the robots is also included in the sonics of the system. The NerdSeq plays an insanely crucial role in mapping and routing different processes around the system. It would be a completely insane task to do this without it.
