At the moment, the master clock/sequencer sync only works in 4/4.
I propose that theres a new setting added to the settings page which allows you to choose time signature.
This will then sync the main sync points to musical divisions (eg. 11/8 or 7/4 etc). Raised also in this thread... https://forum.xor.eu/showthread.php?tid=680
I have just bought a westlicht performer sequencer to go alongside my Nerdseq and it has the option to set time signature for song and then the amount of bars before sync happens.
So this reconfigures the master sequencer bit (top bar on nerdseq) so that all pattern changes happen at the right time.
would this be possible to implement?
So basically, when you trigger a new row to play - it will respect the time signature of the song before switching.
Something like this in the menu screen:
*Time Signature Beats/Note.... Time signature defining the musical measure/bar length for Sync Measure and Reset Measure on sequences. The time signature is also used to define the length of a bar in song mode.
*Sync Measure 1 - 128 bars... Multiple of measures/bars at which to execute syncing.
