Marbles to Digitone

Hi! How can I send a sequence from Marbles to Digitone?
I have one of the CV outputs connected to In1.
I have a MIDI track (T4) with an output to track 4 of the Digitone. 
I'd like the notes sent by Marbles to play through the Digitone, be able to record them to the MIDI track, and ideally also to the Digitone. 
Is this possible? I've been trying and thinking about how to do it for a while, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

You need a CV + the Gate signal from the Marbles since Midi always need a gate to be able to detect note on and note off. There is no 'cv change' or so with Midi, only note on and off combined with a note number (the CV pitch).

If you got both connected, CV at input1 and Gate at input 2 then you got the following options:
In the Input/Record setup you choose:
Input1 Recording -> CV Note + Gate (or Trigger) 4 (for track 4 which is your midi track).
The 2nd Input is now automatically used as the gate input.

This will record (if record is on) into the midi track and plays it directly into the digitone.

They are some pitfalls you got to be aware of:
- CV inputs need to be calibrated properly to be able to reproduce the signals correctly
- You got to be sure that Marbles is set to 0-2 Volt or 0-5 volt because the CV inputs are not bipolar / allow only positive voltages
- It is recording into the steps as good as possible but it will never be 100% accurate
- The signals will only pass through midi if recording is enabled, it will play the patterns though. (they are options to just have a pass-through mode but that would involve mappings which makes it more complex

I didn't test this right now (no Marbles) but it should work generally.
