Pattern scroll shortcut
#1
Since having the multi I/O expander, it’s been really fun to record the knob movements into a scrolling sequencer for a bit of a random inspiration starting point (even tho it does miss out the first bar of the pattern). Being able to turn on/off scrolling quickly would be handy.

Maybe sometime you would consider adding a shortcut for the scroll parameter (or even a button combo on multi I/O for momentary activation).

Actually you could use the mappings for exactly this:

GLOB SQRW ---- > TRCK SLCT CRSR
This row will use the current mainclock row as the source (you could use also a selected track as the row) and changes the cursor to this row. Now you can choose any kind of input to change the values here including the knob.

And you could add a condition around it which turns the scrolling on and off...
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.

Oh wow, that's awesome. But please excuse my ignorance. What do you mean? I could add a condition for turning scrolling on and off?

Not for the scrolling but to scroll the cursor only. Different than the pattern scroll function but the cursor reaches every step and you could use that for what you did.
Pattern scroll from the mapping will be in the next version

Oh, I see what you mean. Not sure how to implement it yet, but glad to know it's possible. And that's very cool news you will be including that functionality in an update. I'm looking forward to exploring the mapping further. admittedly I'm still a complete beginner in that space. Thank you for your help!
