Hardware issue with expanders

Not sure if this is V3.0RC2 related. 
Had a problem with CV16 outs 1 and 9 connected to NSA-3, Running cv16 fw 1.2. Outs 1 and 9 are unresponsive.
Switched to NSA-1 and all is working perfectly now.

Can you repeat the issue and tell me how do you output exactly, like how did you set it up and do you output from the pattern or mapping, pitches, notes or lfo/envelope? Is it maybe possible that the switch on the front was just not exactly in position since it affected outputs 1 and 9 (did other outputs work well?)
Is it possible that you tried to output notes/pitches but envelopes/lfos have been active on these outputs but 'pure overrule' is not enabled?

In short: only when CV16 is set to NSA-1 and Trigger16 set to NSA-3, I got it all working perfectly. Received the Trigger16 since, but it made no difference to the issue with CV16 outs 1 and 9.

I replicated the issue using this procedure:

Starting setup:

MIDI: multi io
NSA 1: Trigger 16 (v1.0)
NSA 2: open
NSA 3: CV16 (v1.2)
NSA 4: video (v3.0)

Create new project. Assign track to CV16 (any track). Input pitches, destination set to ext CV 1. Hit play. No voltage.

Trying all destinations: no output on CV1 and 9.

Setting switch to uni- or bipolar has no influence apart from expected offset. Enabling pure has no influence.

- Quit NS, set CV16 jumper to NSA2. Reboot NS. On detecting expanders, NS indicates NSA1 trigger16, but both NSA2 and 3 indicate CV16.

- Repeated above procedure: same problem (no voltage on CV16 outs 1 and 9, every other output works normal).

- Reboot NS holding SHIFT: no change in double CV16 NSA detection (still on both NSA2 and 3).

- Unplugged trigger16 and CV16, reboot: NS shows NSA1, 2 and 3 open, video on 4.

- Re-connected trigger16 (NSA1) and CV16 (NSA2). Reboot. NS shows Trigger16 on NSA1, but CV16 again on NSA 2 and 3.

- Quit, unplug trigger16 and CV16, reboot: NSA scan ok.

- Set Trigger16 to NSA-1, CV16 to NSA-2. Quit NS, plug, reboot: NSA-scan indicates both expanders. Still no voltage on CV16 1 and 9.

- Quit, unplug, reboot with only CV16 connected set to NSA-1: all outputs working perfect.

- Quit, CV16 NSA-1, add Trigger16 (NSA-2), reboot. Again same issue with outs 1 and 9 on CV16.

- Quit, CV16 at NSA-1, adding Trigger16 to NSA-3. Reboot. BAM! Everything works.

This looks a bit like either cable / connection issues or a hardware issue (maybe power). It's surely not related to the latest Firmware Release candidate.
In general, never hotplug any of the expanders (or change the channel).
Try to isolate the issue to a specific cable or expander. If it gets detected on multiple NSA then there is something wrong for sure. That could lead of course then to the individual ports not working properly.

Problem occurs when CV16 jumper is set to NSA-2.

Same behaviour when connecting CV16 straight to NS NSA header, no other expanders installed. Any other NSA address works normal. I've tested different psu's & ribbon cables, ruling out any of these possibilities. Trigger16 works as normal on NSA-2.
