Use MIDI as shader mod source?
#1
I spent some time last night attempting to have shaders be modified by notes on a midi track. I tried setting this up in the video track settings, but finding it difficult to use MIDI as source.

Also tried in Mappings, but seemed to have no effect. MIDI TRK Note > Shader Mod1 I think.

I’d like to be able to have all 4 lanes in a MIDI track modify shaders. Is this possible?

Yes that is possible with the mappings. But it creates only note numbers from 0-120 but the full range goes from 0-4095/FFF.
So you need to change the range, multiply the notes or so to see the effect. And of course the shaders must support it.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
Every (unnessesary) forum support means less time to develop! But of course, i am here to help!  Smile
