SCLK doesn't react
#1
Hi, I'm messing with SCLK in the FX column, but it doesn't seem to react/change the tempo, is there something I should be doing (looking for) that triggers the clock change?

Just for your info I'm trying SCLK 003 to try and get a triplet feel.

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: Okay, forget that, it started working, but now I can't get back to the original tempo (using SCLK 009) Confused . In fact, I can't get the SCLK to change at the right places at all. And, as I've just said, if it does change then it's very difficult to get to stop and go back to the original tempo.

And, as yet, I still haven't managed to get it to divide by 3 at the right place. The SCLK seems to take affect elsewhere (at the beginning of the next pattern), which is a bit odd. I've tried SCLK 009 at the start of a pattern, tried reset FX on track via Nerd Menu, but all in vain.

I guess there's something I'm missing, can someone help out please?

Sclk got 2 functions. One with the next pattern which is definitely needed and one directly which might destroy your timing.

Please always refer to the manual first because it is in there
and it has been discussed multiple times in the forum.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
Every (unnessesary) forum support means less time to develop! But of course, i am here to help!  Smile

Okay, I've got it (page 32 I think):

0XX Change the clock after the end of the current playing pattern. The new pattern will play with the new clock setting.

1XX Change the clock immediately. Etc..........

Thanks.
