Skip output of CV when trigger 'is off'

I'm not in agreement w/r to this feature request, i.e. when I change a voltage in the CV column I want that reflected on the output no matter what.

But if it is selectable per track, 'you' can agree...

Only send/change note CV when there is a trigger, is a pretty straightforward setting. Also when a key is not pressed on synths, there isn't a note/CV Sen either.

CV changes happening also with synthesizers (change the pitchbend in the release phase, possible glides etc, tied notes on a mono-synth which doesn't do a retrigger...).
The reason you don't realize that most of the time is that the Midi standard for example does not have a note change which doesn't always involve a gate.
It is one of the strong parts that CV and Gates can be easily controlled separately with modular.

What the darktime or any other sequencer does is not relevant (and I don't care anyways ). They can probably do only that one thing, while the NerdSEQ can do all situations, change the note without gates, change the gates without notes, change both.

A setting would be indeed an idea. But I can also imagine that I will get frequently reports of people claiming their CV output is not working when they accidentally enabled that (and trust me, I get quite some reports of these things and in the end it's a setting the user changed...). 
They are many people who don't use the trigger columns but let the autogate with note on+off do its job (which is also the starting point for a beginner).
Anyways, I will think about it...
