I didn't answer it directly because it's a rhetorical question, coming at the end of a recap of the Nerdseq's many abilities - none of which are relevant to the thread topic.

There may be a workaround for my particular needs when tables are implemented for Trigger tracks but we'll have to wait and see.

But, the functionality I'm suggesting in the first post could still be useful even for those who don't share my particular concern with rhythm.

Quote:You could sync two or more NerdSEQ through CLOCK and RESET and I know that others have done that. You probably could link them via MIDI as well but I have not tried that.

I am quite aware of how clock, reset and sync work.

I am suggesting a bit of additional functionality for playing live with 2 Nerdseqs. Nothing more, nothing less.

Would like to do the same.

Have you figured anything out?

how bout shooting program changes from a midi track in  "Master Nerdseq" to "Slave Nerdseq"?

are rows Launchable via program change messages?

You can connect them via Midi and then you can launch rows, you can sync them if you want to including the Song Position Pointer on pattern changes etc.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
Every (unnessesary) forum support means less time to develop! But of course, i am here to help!  Smile
