Hehe. The problem is that the Sega controller is an active controller and you can't just split the connections. You would need a separate device which would both act as a gamepad receiver and send device and as much fun as it might be, I don't really think it would be something I am going to make in the near future.
So, mapping the sega controller to any event is already possible....playing sonic at the same time, not.
