The Nord Drum 2 does not need Note Off either.
However, it has 2 modes - one where all 6 channels respond to Midi channel 10, and another mode where each output has it's own individual midi channel (which enables pitch to work for the drum sounds). I'd love for the Nerdseq to be able to be configured so that each 'midi lane' on the pattern screen could have its own midi channel
