I think if you want to have like percentages you maybe better manipulate the incoming signal for that.
Mmm, which key are your referring to for deleting on the fly?
An example for the full replace/overwrite/destructive mode.
I'm recording notes and triggers from the MTM Turing Machine using inputs 1 and 2 together. While the sequencer goes the pattern is filled with notes and triggers and when the pattern loops the new incoming values are merged with the old ones: if the step was empty it is filled with the new value, if it had a value the new one replaces it, and if no new value is given for the current step the old one in retained. What I was thinking was that it could be useful if, in a similar use case, the pattern was like "automatically emptied" before looping, so that each time the pattern's notes and triggers were recorded anew without breaking the flow. Does it make sense?
For the percentage/add/subtract/etc. thing: I'm aware that one could be getting the notes out of NerdSEQ, manipulate them externally and recording them back in the pattern, but I thought that a general mean to decide how the values are recorded (if the above use case made sense) could contemplate mixing behaviours as well.
Anyway, thanks for listening
