Were LDSJ Chains considered for NerdSEQ?

Purely out of curiosity, and not as an LSDJ user but rather just as someone learning some things about it in order to deepen my knowledge, provide more context to how NerdSEQ came to be the way that it is, etc...

Thomas, did you consider including Chains during the evolution of NerdSEQ? I’m curious as to the thought process that went into NerdSEQ reflecting so much of LSDJ but not Chains.
