Also the FX random functions won't work as you use them:
FX are processed from low to high. So if you use the command RDMN (Random Next FX) you would need to set it before the pitch command.
Like on FX1 you set the random command for FX2, then FX2 where you put the pitch would be randomized. But here it won't be in scale but free 'fine'-pitches. Also if you use the stable version it will be random without any ranges or limits. The new coming version and current release candidated you can set also ranges for the random functions.
In your case, I would just go with the table. Have a 1 shot table, set the stop in the HOP on row 01 use the RND in the transpose setting on row 00. Choose the range (based on the basenote = C-1 in your case) you want the notes to be.
Select the allowed notes or choose one of the preset chords. And set quantize to up, down or coin.
This will give you a random note for this step within the scale you selected.
In the new version there is another random command specially for notes to create random notes. But for scaling the tables will still be needed.

It changes the notes, but it keeps playing B7 on my oscillator... which isn't in the ALLOW NOTES with the C Maj. I think B7 is where my digital oscillator tops out. How can I limit the range of the random?
How do the values in the RANGE work? What does +1 equal? a semitone?

MY DUDE - I have to hit shift delete in the transpose column of my Table to get it to randomly select a new note! Why didn't you just say that? All is good!
