Accumulate, Metropolix style?

While the accumulate function isn't replicated it's net effect is, at least for the most obvious use cases, i.e. adding/subtracting a value to a step in a given sequence on each round. After all this particular part of accumulate is nothing but a special form of arpeggio on the given note. And for that tables are well suited.
