alternative switch color

hope it's okay to bump an old thread... but my "sequencer/mark" button is no longer working properly, from normal use. I was thinking maybe I can try to remove the panel and try to clean the connection and replace the switch if necessary? But this thread seems to indicate that this might be harder than I originally thought. Any advice for me?
