I managed to get this to work using the Nerdseq's Live Inputs.
Setup -> Input /Record Setup: Inputs 1- 4 Live can be set to SAMPLE 7 or SAMPLE 8 Gate
I've loaded a couple drum samples and have an 8 step sequence on track 8 with a basic kick/beat. I then patch the pulse out from the Turing Machine into an attenuator then into Nerdseq Input 4 and whenever I want the beat to change, I twist the knob on the attenuator and it passes triggers to track 8.
