OK I see. (Just double checked again). I think another portamento function would be overkill. A portamento like with oldschool trackers do/can lead to non-scaled notes. The 'portamento to note' which in fact the glide is with the nerdseq is more precise to where the glide leads to.
You still can program a similar portamento using tables and most probably other FX (Add/Sub) in combination.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
