I wouldn't do it with BPM FX since this would change also the speed of your whole project.
But tables is a good starting point. And i would probably create multiple tables with the same content for a used chord but each with different speeds maybe.
And these tables are selected then randomly.
You can also call another table from within a table which could add another variation.
