Set Pattern Length's in Ticks

Aren’t you overthinking this? Isn’t it the other way ‘round: the steps each just have their number of ticks as set in the groove column, and the number if steps is calculated from this based on the total number of ticks, last step padded? Done at the moment you’re setting the total ticks or editing the pattern, so doesn’t have to be calculated live. Without of course understanding the underlying code… nothing worse than someone who doesn’t know how it’s implemented, telling you how to implement it… sorry about that
