Handling FX changes between patterns?

I’m running into problems when I use FX changes in one pattern as they carry over to the next pattern. Specifically, I’m using the built in Automator envelopes, I change the attack peak or other parameters of an envelope in one pattern, then it’s stuck at that setting when the next pattern plays.

Q 1: is there an easy way to reset the envelope on a pattern change?
Q 2: would it be better to create two more envelopes and assign them with FX to replace the default envelope in one pattern? Is this possible?

Q1: What is reset? There is no reset but they are only envelope settings and you either change them in the envelope setup or via the FX. It wouldn't make sense anyways to have them change automatically on a new pattern. I for example prefer envelopes that run through multiple patterns.
Automators are not envelopes by the way. Envelopes are their own thing which can run without the use of automators.
Also many parameter changings from FX do really change the parameter like a knob and it stays like this until it's being changed again in any way. You can see which ones act like this in the manual by the little knob icon.

Q2: No that doesn't work. Envelopes run independend from each other (just like real hardware envelopes) regardless the destination. They would run both and update both the values. And you patch them to a destination like real patch cables. The destination can't be changed via FX.
