Video Expander .FRAG refresh problem
#1
Hey NerdSeq'ers!!

I've recently Updatet to the new Firmware and testet out the Video Expander!
I've Noticed the as soon as I use a V .Frag (the mask ones that overlays the normal screen)
that the Screen Freezes on the selection screen while the animation runs!

Additionally I'd like to ask how to delete all the files from the video expander, I can reload the selected ones on?
do i have to delete them from an sd behind?

I really hope there is a solution for the Freezing problem!
Thankss !!

Can you explain what you mean by a v.frag? And what feezes exactly when you do what exactly?

You can delete single files but no bulks. You would need to do that manually from the VEX SD Card.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.

I ment the .FRAG with an V in it, that overlay the normal NerdSeq Screen! as soon as I implement  them, the regular screen freezes on the selection page!  Sad

Can you add the file here? I still don’t know what you mean.
And explain exactly what you do/did. I don’t have a clue right now.

As soon as I use an overlay shader (the ones marked with a V), the screen freezes and doesn’t refresh. The shader is still running, but the NerdSeq itself is frozen. I noticed this while trying to move the cursor around or change menus!
The overlay shaders are actually my favorites! Smile

Without being able to test it right now. Change the alpha to 99%

It does work, I just tested it. Once the alpha is set to any number < 1.0 (and in your case you would set it to 0.99 which is 99%) it sends also the screen clone data. With an alpha of 1.0 the screen clone data is disabled.

It is not related to your file. I think you are not changing the parameters of the shader you are running at that moment because:
In your picture you are editing the alpha of shader 1 V RAINBOWRO...

But you attached the EVERTEMT shader which is another one. So I think most probably you change the values of the wrong shader. Keep in mind that you have 8 shader slots with each its own values and parameters and you can change values of shaders that are not running.
