Output a clock divider on CV16 via mapping?
#1
Hello!

It would be handy to have a 1/4 clock output on one of my open CV16 jacks.  I get that you can do this by adding a trigger every 4th step on a track and mapping the track to a trigger or envelope, (or just firing the envelope from an FX lane) among other ways, but I'd like to avoid having to edit every pattern to include the pulse pattern.  My projects get really big when preparing for a live set and I'll definitely miss a bunch of patterns.

Is there an easier way via the mapping matrix?  A condition that will trigger at a 1/4 note interval (vs the main clock that outputs a 1/16 note pulse) that I can use to fire a trigger or envelope?

I've tried a few ideas with GLOB SQRW and the the CLKI and CLKO mappings but can't quite get there.

If I could implement a couple of clock dividers right on the Nerd outputs (the CV16 is ideal, but I'll settle for a MOD output on one of the main channels too) I could probably sell my Pam's Smile

Seconded! I tried to do this the other day as well.
