Voltages for each note
#1
Hi,

I am using Assimil8or which can trigger a specific sample given a certain voltage range (zones).
I though that would be great to play pitch accurate multi samples.
Is it possible to provide a table of voltages for each note?

I dont have anything to measure voltages at the moment.
Can you help me on this?
Thanks,

Martin

if i got you right :
1 volt per octave , 12 semitones in one octave = 0.0833333..volt spacing between each semitone

Thanks, yes, thats the theory indeed.
Additionally, maybe, XORAdmin has the actual table of voltages, that may or not differ from the theory.

I have no table, it's all calculated.
But here:
C-0 0 Volt
C#0 0.083
D-0 0.166
D#0 0.25
E-0 0.333
F-0 0.416
F#0 0.5
G-0 0.583
G#0 0.666
A-0 0.75
A#0 0.833
B-0 0.916

For all octaves you add the octave number.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
