increment / decrement all marked values

I would like to see a feature where you can increment / decrement all of the values in a marked section.. the same as how you raise or lower them singly (shift-dPad).
There was a feature like this in the old impulse tracker and I loved it.. there were also key commands for ramping marked values.. but that isnt as important

I was just going to come here and say the same thing after attempting this exact move several times out of pure intuition of how the rest of the Nerdseq works.

Maybe marking, then Shift+UP/DOWN? Or even just in the Nerd menu, which is where I tried finding it initially.

I'd be hesitant to make it Shift+Arrow up as I think my intuition would be that if there ever was a Mark and move implemented it'd use the arrow keys.

Yes, it's exactly what I was thinking too. I suspect that to make it useful it would have to be more or a 'select' type option rather than in the Nerd Menu, which I imagine would transpose all notes (in that pattern). Practically, you might want to transpose the first 10 notes up a 5th, but not the next 5 notes, etc.

You can mark and transpose the marked parts indeed through the nerd-menu.
SHIFT+DOWN in marked mode is already used to mark all
SHIFT + CURSOR LEFT/RIGHT/UP/DOWN is already used in the new version for another mark possibility

Leaves only the nerd menu for functionality. For now as you know, transposing a semitone and a octave are possible. These could be changed into a increase/decrease which would have the same effect for transposing but would include also other functions. Not sure if you only asked for transposing.

I recently wanted to use the feature to increase all the volume values in a sound track and all the mod values in a cv track. 

I’m already using the nerd menu transposition option a lot!

ah right. well there must be a better solution than having to go menu diving to change multiple values simultaneously..  nerdseq has 16 buttons!... 
a DMG only has 7.. and you can do it in lsdj.. if you select say some notes in a pattern and hold A.. you can transpose all of the selected notes up and down using the dpad..

Sorry but menu diving is a different thing. You don’t have to jump from one to another menu etc. This is on a top level and one button away.
I am not a friend of weird shortcuts and I am not planning to introduce them. They are very few exceptions and it must be worth the effort and added complexity.

Sorry but menu diving is a different thing. You don’t have to jump from one to another menu etc. This is on a top level and one button away.
