QWERTY Keyboard Am I Doing Something Wrong?

Hey all!  I recently purchased the Nerdseq, as well as the More Video IO, the MIDI thing, and the 16 Triggers.

I've got everything up and running, save for one thing.

I have gotten the Video IO working great with a monitor, but it seems a bit finicky about QWERTY keyboards.  My main keyboard is a Ducky One 2, and it doesn't seem to work.  However, I have some random other keyboard and it works fine.  Is there a reason why one keyboard would work and another would'nt?
