CC Control/MIDI mapping

this came up on a chat yesterday on Discord:
Someone was asking if the nerdseq can map midi CCs in a similar manner to how the CV ins get mapped. Im not sure it does that already, so I figured I'd stick it in here. taking it further, being able to have a midi control matrix alongside the automation mappings would be useful for advanced use cases. I know the i2c expander is coming, presumably that will play nice with things like the 16 faderbank for parameter control?

Yeah that is the plan! A configurable table with Midi CC , I2C and other sources -> Range Definition -> Destination. Can be used also then in automators.

Amazing! Exactly what I'm looking for. I end up using a constant voltage + attenuator into the CV inputs all the time for macro controls, but this would give me more options and free up the CV inputs for more interesting things.
