Mapping screen inconsistent MIDI conversion

Firmware 2.01A

In a new project:
- Create a new pattern on track 1 and add note values
- In Project Mapping Screen:

Code:

TRCK TRK1 NOTE > MIDI TC1 NOTE

- Connect Multi IO MIDI to a MIDI-CV converter (Droid in this case)
- Start playback

Result:
- MIDI channel 1 note doesn't always update when the note in track 1 changes

Example (see attached image):
- Green trace is CV1 output
- Blue trace is MIDI channel 1 converted to CV

If I instead create a MIDI track on NerdSEQ, the CV output and MIDI-CV values match exactly.

I can't reproduce that.

Every note from the CV source is converted properly to Midi and sends a Midi Note On + Off as expected (here at least).

Can you maybe also add your pattern?
And maybe the droid doesn't update it's note is a note on and off apprear straight after each other all the time?

You could simply check the same sequence and instead of connecting the droid, connect it to the Midi input of the NerdSEQ and do the opposite mapping, Midi TC Note as the source and CV NOTE CV2 as the output.
