launch row synchronised to an already running MIDI clock

I'm looking for a way to launch a Nerdseq Row (phase) synchronized to an already running (Octatrack) Midi clock when switching between projects live.
I'm trying to avoid the need to Stop /Start the (Master) Octatrack in order to have my nerdseq start in phase (similtaneously on step one with everything else)
Have solved this for now by mapping a note coming from the octatrack on step one reset to each of the tracks individually (8 mapping rows utilizing track 1-8 Rset) and then muting this sequenced note once the sequences are aligned to potentially allow polymetric stuff.

Was just wondering if i was missing a simpler way of doing this. would be nice to avoid menudiving the octatrack after loading up a new project.

The basic thing is that with Midi nothing like this exists..like getting back in sync of a stream of clocks. There is no sync command which appears from time to time and the only real sync moment is the start moment.(For regular Midi clock) I don't think the Octatrack supports SPP (Song position pointer) which does do a sync moment after each pattern.
However, in the NerdSEQ I implemented a nudge function which allows you to get back in sync. It is still manually. But you can start the nerdseq by 'feeling' and correct it with a simple shortcut if it is a bit off. You do this on the Tempo row in the Project screen by pressing SHIFT+OK+Cursor UP/DOWN.

What you maybe could try instead of the 8 mapping rows is using only the start sequencer once instead of the 8 mapping rows. Not sure if that would work 100% and it still needs the Octa to send a note for that.

( late ) thanks for the reply. i've found the the "Global reset" + " "Global button start" mapping destinations to best for this purpose. for anyone else using octatrack specifically for this keep in mind that the octatrack midi track needs tu be unmuted. also there are no one shot trigs for a midi tracks, so the trigger needs to be removed once synched in order to avoid unwanted resynchronisation.
