Custom scale from Scala file
#1
I'd be interested in a feature where a .scl file stored on the sd drive could be used for quantization. Any chance for such a feature?

I would love to see this feature. Or to create easily custom scale mappings away from western 12 TET in the NerdSeq directly or edit imported scala data further. In general more microtonal capability would be awesome and make the Nerd Seq stand out in modular world even more. I am new user, but I feel like the NerdSeq is perfect module for dedicated microtonality features.

As an inspiration could be Tubbutec uTune, it is also 16bit:

Sadly as I was informed by Thomas on discord, it is not possible as the "core" how NerdSeq handles scales / notes would need to be redone for supporting "mulit octave" octaves. It would be not an easy (up to impossible) task as it was not counted with. I suppose we will never see this on NerdSeq. I am thinking about giving the uTone another chance and next to other usecases pair it also with NerdSeq. Seems bit "owerkill", but might be best solution for in-rack precise microtonal needs
