Hi Thomas,
While trying to control the Expert Sleepers disting NT from the NerdSEQ, I ran into an interoperability issue.
Currently, the NerdSEQ appears to send the voice-specific form of the I²C Note On/Off protocol.
The Disting NT also supports the MIDI-like Note On/Off commands, which let the disting perform its own voice allocation (round-robin, voice stealing, etc.).
For instruments like the disting NT's Poly Multisample algorithm, it actually seems to not be able to trigger at all unless you send a custom note command (54,55,56)
Would it be possible to add an option, probably per I2C destination, to use the MIDI-style Note On/Off commands instead of the voice-specific ones?
