Horizontally flipped Nerdseq
#1
Not really a request, but just a thought: how realistic/possible would it be to have a Nerdseq where the CV/Trig/Mod outs were on the left side of the unit?  Just a thought for those who have considered working two units in their arsenal.  I noticed that the majority of users have them in the far left of the rig to minimize clutter over the buttons/screen and it would make sense to have a flipped version if you were to put one in the right corner instead.

i got mine in the lower right corner...works great with my setup
my "sequencing/clock/perc" rack :

i got 8 rows 84hp in my system so far , the 3 rows shown above (flat on the desk), and a bigger cabinet with 5 rows (standing behind)
clever cable-management is a must , lot of different length helps , "weaving" cables together , some short velcro-straps too..
but you probably know that all..
i don´t think a mirrored version would be a big advance , some clutter will happen anyway ... modular fun Wink

Would love to see a picture! I feel like I would go crazy if I had any cables hanging over the buttons/screen. I guess my workflow on my setup is also left to right so it makes sense

it´s not patched right know , tomorrow is my "big cleaning day"(i´m a bit messy) but i´ll do a pic in the next day´s...
i think as long you put the nerdseq in the lowest row you´ll be always fine with the visibility of the screen.

Of course it would be possible, but it would need a redesign of the PCB and a new frontpanel. And making this would be quite expensive. So i guess that will never happen.

But when the expanders are out, you can place them on the left and got a big set of outputs then Smile
